When not perfecting her bagpipe artistry, Emma is rocking the legal world as a solicitor at CMS Cameron McKenna. Emma is the president of the Scottish Young Lawyers Association, and she hopes to introduce our group and the cause to many of her long-time friends.
is the mixologist who created the delightfully refreshing vodka brew, which is a
permanent fixture at all of our Las Vegas "Ultimate Ringer" doubles events. This magical pink drink brings smiles to all. Rosemary is an inspirational force behind Cancer Research Racquet and she brings our events to life worldwide.
When not masterminding

's involvement with cancer research efforts spans her years at Google. This cause is close to Lauren's heart because her father, Larry, is a cancer survivor. She travels coast to coast to make a difference – from the red clay of Sconset, to Nationals in Las Vegas, to the "Ultimate Ringer" Tennis & Wine Weekends in Napa, to the "Endless Champagne" Cancer Research Celebrations in San Francisco. Lauren brings her passion for the cause to all our events but is unlikely to mention that she and her Stanford teammates captured the NCAA Women's Tennis Championships – Lauren's kick serve is simply a thing of beauty.
is the "Best Dressed Emcee" for every Cancer Research Racquet event. In addition, Randy is lightning fast on the doubles court. At our "Ultimate Ringer" Doubles event in Las Vegas, Abigail Spears and Raquel Kops-Jones labeled Randy as a wickedly quick poacher. Randy's trademark shot is the Jimmy Connors "Sky Hook" overhead. Randy adds spark and flare to each and every Cancer Research Racquet event. Did you see that blur?? That was Randy saying "hi" and "bye".

Sharon Oboshie Doku
is a hat flatterer – no one dons hand-crafted, head glamor like Sharon. And Paris is where she shares her latest trends. Each day's delicate design only rests on a table when the dance floor calls. No hat could withstand the heel and hip movements of Sharon's rumba. When Sharon is not on an international dance floor, singing bits from operettas to Disney or at the theater (or actually performing on stage herself), she is a cross-border, capital markets and finance lawyer with Freshfields, Bruckhaus Deringer in Germany. Sharon brings style and flare to all our European Cancer Research Racquet events. Time to shop !!
is a singer / songwriter turned international gaming attorney with Brownstein, Hyatt, Farber & Schreck in Las Vegas. Erin's current single is "The Crepe Song" which just hit #6 on I?Tunes. Erin brings smiles to all Cancer Research Racquet events and she will be celebrating her birthday at our Opening Day, Corporate Event at Roland Garros in May of 2015.
is a recognized champagne connoisseur. Her sophisticated palate detects the subtle nuances between Moet and Cristal. Kirsten explores all aspects of effervescence (the study of bubbles – I want this job!!!). She shares her joy with her Ohio friends who, together, host fun-filled, tennis-themed cancer research events during the Western and Southern Open. When on the tennis courts, beware of Kirsten's out wide serve which she, as the Head Coach of the Case Western Reserve Women's Tennis Team, teaches to each of her team members – lucky them!!
is the fashionista for all of our Broadway engagements. Having perfected her fashion sense during her European travels and having honed her high-heel shoe artistry through her study of Kinky Boots, Avery's flair for look, form and shape are unmatched. When not consulting with Vogue, Elle, or Cosmopolitan, Avery helps organize our U.S. Open & Broadway Show Weekend as well as "Endless Champagne" Cancer Research Fundraiser at the Miami Open. In the near term, Avery hopes to join the group in Paris and perhaps Italy where she can view the latest designs on the runways of Milan. Avery is an intellectual property attorney in New York, and when she is not in court, she rules on the courts where she dominated a competition in the ACC while on the tennis team at Providence.
is Cancer Research Racquet's social media maestro and helps our group connect across multiple platforms. Annie is part of our brainstorming team for our "Ultimate Ringer" Cancer Research Events in Atlanta, and has helped the group fund three cancer research grants to date through the American Cancer Society's "Pay-If" program. When she is not organizing charity events, Annie shares her love of tennis with the youth of Atlanta. To no one's surprise, Annie ruled the Southern Conference during her years at UT Chattanooga.
Wendi Webster Green
is our Global Gin Guru. As the designated gin specialist at Distillery No. 209, Wendi gladly shares how No. 209 Gin pairs perfectly with our favorite fares. The Scotland event will help fund the group's fourth cancer research grant – we cannot wait !!!
is a Australian snare drummer in a Scottish Pipe Band (there has to be an incredible back story here – unlimited wine for Elissa at our next event, please. we must learn the rest of the story). Formerly a competitive surfer girl from Perth, Australia, Elissa is now an upstream oil and gas exploration lawyer in London (wait, yet another incredible back story must be here – we are now doubling our wine budget for our next event). Elissa has loved tennis since the age of 2 and was dominating the junior tennis scene until a freak ankle injury in ballet class ended her tennis and ballet careers (ok, does every statement beg for further follow-up ???). Elissa appreciates the humor of Shakespeare's comedies, the strength of characters in Wicked and the originality and creativity of the countercultural performers and artists at the Glastonbury Festival in Somerset (now a road trip is necessary . . .). Elissa is nothing but smiles and we are so pleased that she is part of the group.
is the serve and volley specialist of Cancer Research Racquet and his backhand slice is feared by all grass court enthusiasts. Start engraving Ivan's name on the trophy . . .

We look forward to our event with Janet and her team.

is a classically-trained pianist turned Competition lawyer at the International law firm of Hogan Lovells in Brussels. Marianna and her committed colleagues are bringing Cancer Research Racquet to Belgium in 2015. Given Marianna's love of the Liege variety of Belgium waffles (adorned with strawberries and ice cream) and the country's brewing of over 800 kinds of beer, we could foresee a dueling piano-bar reception at a fine establishment serving delicious waffles, washed down with lager chasers – sounds right up our alley!!!
After a stellar career at UNLV,

Known as "Doctor Dangerous" for his lethal, Nadal-like forehand, Devin is Cancer Research Racquet's secret agent for all its clandestine "due diligence" trips to exotic locations. As a master of disguise, Devin effortlessly morphs between impersonations — from a French Open Quarter Finalist on the Paris metro, to an expert oyster shooter at the Wimbledon Gatsby Club, to a late-night, life-saving "wing-man" at London hotels. When 007 returns to civilian life in Las Vegas, Devin eases everyone's pain through the NUCCA chiropractic method.
controls nature. Danny can command the sun to shine and the rain to fall. We have never witnessed anything like our first "Ultimate Ringer" Cancer Research Fundraiser in Las Vegas. With rain about to cancel the event for hundreds of guests, Danny assessed the situation, looked to the heavens and the clouds parted one hour before the beginning of the match. As if that were not enough, two hours later, when Tim Blenkiron ended the event with an amazing overhead that bounced over the fence, an absolute downpour began. For the event organizers who are also cancer survivors and caregivers, we simply stood on the court and enjoyed being drenched. We all had exactly the same thought at exactly the same time – this was more than coincidence – and we smiled at each other. Danny cracked many forehand winners while on the Men's Tennis Team at UNLV and has shared his love of the game with all at the Spanish Trail Country Club since the 1980's.
Lena is a connoisseur of Swiss and Belgian chocolates, fried cheese squid balls and fricasseed spiders. Her impressive range of tastes is matched by her list of exotic travels. Taylor helps organize all our West Coast cancer research events – from Nationals in Las Vegas to our "Ultimate Ringer" Tennis & Wine weekends in Napa, to our "Endless Champagne" Cancer Research Celebrations in San Francisco. To no one's surprise, Taylor dominated the Ivy League competition during her years on the Princeton Women's Tennis Team.
is a European jet-setter, an international gaming wizard, and a fashionista straight from the runways of Milan. Whether through her product designs at Scientific Gaming in Las Vegas, her dinners with Billie Jean King, or her brainstorming sessions with James Dale at the IMG Champagne Bubble, Lauralyn turns Cancer Research Racquet's dreams for a better world into reality. We thank her and Charlie McCarthy every day for being a founding force of the group and for expanding its reach to elite events around the world.
rules competitive beach tennis in Nantucket. Her sandy championship trophies result, in part, from a wise doubles partner selection – Las Vegas partners make solid line calls in match point situations ... but that is another story. Kristen has been an important part of our cancer research efforts since 2009 and she travels the country to support the fundraising efforts – Nantucket, Las Vegas, Atlanta. While Kristen is now a senior strategy analyst at Novelis, most may not know that Kristen was No. 1 in the nation when she became part of the University of Virginia's women's tennis team. We enjoy Kristen's heart and spirit at every event.

Maryline is a jazz flautist turned cross-asset derivative specialist with Goldman Sachs in London. When not joining Cancer Research Racquet at its Opening Day, Corporate Event at the French Open, Maryline enjoys the good memories from her involvement with the Rock n Roll Dancing Association. Rock on, Maryline !!
is the Sommelier of Sonoma. She advises on the delicate differences amongst California Valley's Syrahs, Pinots and Merlots. When not using her hydrometer to test the sugar levels of the ripening grapes, Julia helps organize the "Ultimate Ringer" Tennis & Wine Weekends in Napa and the "Endless Champagne" Cancer Research Celebrations in San Francisco. When on the tennis court, Julia cracks two-handed backhand winners at will. Julia perfected her craft as the captain of the Oregon's Women's Tennis Team and shares her knowledge at the Diamond Hills Sports Club – Beware of her slice serve.
is Cancer Research Racquet's Safari Leader. She fearlessly leads post-tennis, golf cart adventures through the Croatian National Park wilderness. During the adventure, the golf cart and its passengers escaped "overly-friendly" elephants and "eager to please" zebras – all guests returned safely to the tennis courts. Anja and her team organized our "Ultimate Ringer" Doubles event in stunning Pula, Croatia. We eagerly await our next opportunity to return to the red-clay courts, the sea-side tennis and more wild animal adventures in Croatia.
designs unforgettable days at the Private Gardens of Roland Garros. She invites our Cancer Research Racquet friends to experience the French Open in the most unique and beautiful ways. Noemie is part of the French Tennis Federation's Dream Team in Paris. We are thankful for her and her team every day.
is our Grand Slam Gal. In 2003, Julia and her husband became the "Under Cover Bosses" for a vineyard and traveled to each of the four Grand Slams to confirm that the "large white wines" were served at the appropriate temperature in each environment and that the wine's flavors were completely integrated (We have many volunteers should this multi-continent "inspection" need repeating). When life returns Julia to the UK, she rules the grass courts at the St. George's Lawn Tennis Club. Julia is part of our wonderful London BrainStormers group. In addition to being part of our UK "Ultimate Ringer" Doubles events, Julia is spearheading our movie set tour of "The Holiday" in Sussex – We can't wait !!
and her team brought Cancer Research Racquet to Dublin several years ago. Simply a complete delight for all of us!!! Now, Kellie advises the friends in Croatia, Scotland, Belgium and the Netherlands, all who are organizing new Cancer Research Racquet events in their respective countries – more friends, more events, more fun – All of this because of Kellie, her passion and her desire to advance the research – Thank you, Kellie!!
searches the world for the next "perfect" location for a Cancer Research Racquet event. After a few weeks of "due diligence" in Antigua, Lydia realized that "sailing" was missing from the Cancer Research Racquet event calendar. That is no longer the case. Lydia and her team crafted a Yacht, Champagne & Tennis weekend at the International Tennis Hall of Fame in Newport, Rhode Island. Lydia's passion for the cause is evident at all of our events and her joy for life is contagious. We are so glad that she is part of so many of our events.
rocks !! We could, and perhaps, we should stop there – but no. So why does Melissa rock?? Excellent question. Melissa rocks for several reasons. First, Melissa creates the amazing WTA Red-Carpet, Pre-Wimbledon, Players Party at the Kensington Roof Top Gardens – but there is more. She organizes the WTA Year-End Championships in Singapore – seriously!! And as if this cake needed any more icing, she wobbles perfectly when executing the body-serve, I-Formation play against baffled and confused opponents!! From Day One, Melissa has been a special friend of Cancer Research Racquet and we simply say "Thank you". Ok, we will also deliver to her perfectly-chilled Champagne.
changed Cancer Research Racquet forever. Carmen believed that people with similar passions could collectively make a difference even if they lived in different cities and different countries. When we met Carmen several years ago in Paris (we love stories that begin in Paris), Carmen had only a short time before her next business meeting. We chatted for a few minutes and then Carmen broke away for a moment. When she returned, her business meeting had been rescheduled. Later, she cleared her day. And then she cleared her week. Over the next six days in Paris and London, we charted an adventure – this adventure, which still seems like a dream world to us all. Her company, Linkedin, connects our group to the world. Many of you know the power of Linkedin connections first hand. We are grateful for Carmen and for everything that she, her team and Linkedin do for Cancer Research Racquet.
is close friends with Rafa Nadal and Andy Murray (and has the pictures to prove it). When she is not on the practice courts with the Grand Slam Champions or closing deals at Clearwater Corporate Finance in London, Natasha is hosting Cancer Research Racquet events all over London and Paris. From Hollywood Arms, to Surbiton, to Wimbledon, to the O2 Arena, to Roland Garros, Natasha's passion for the cause and her joyful approach to life make each event special and memorable. If you hear Katy Perry songs being sung somewhere in the room, Natasha is nearby.
is a legal rocket scientist – instead of manufacturing the launch vehicle, Sarah designs the contracts by which aircraft are built and sold. When land travel is required, Sarah boards the European rocket trains. Sarah scored major brownie points recently on the London-to-Paris Eurostar. A friend, already in Paris, left her French Open tickets on the kitchen table in London – big mistake. The friend called a courier who grabbed the tickets from her London kitchen table (along with a peanut butter & jelly sandwich), and, with just minutes until Sarah's departure, raced to St. Pancras Station for the successful handoff. Everyone enjoyed the tennis and Champagne !! Tennis runs deep in Sarah's family. Her father holds various Egyptian tennis championships and Sarah's backhand is regarded as "wicked". Sarah and her husband, Matt, travel the world with their Yorkie, Stoli and are actively involved in all of our French Open and Wimbledon events.
is a Miami lawyer with a New Yorker's passion for music, theater and life. has magical powers. Wonderful opportunities to advance cancer research appear with a simple wave of Emily's hands: Poof – and we are meeting friends at Hurlingham who care about advancing cancer research: Double Poof – and we are connecting with cancer-fighters at the O2 Arena: Triple Poof – and we are brainstorming at the IMG Champagne Bubble at Wimbledon. When she takes a breather from her magnificently mystical ways, Emily rocks the world of sport as part of the IMG World, Dream Team in London. What magic will she perform next??? We wait with great anticipation!!
and her European Team brought Cancer Research Racquet to beautiful Croatia. For the Pula "Ultimate Ringer" Doubles event, she combined the stunning coastline beauty of the Adriatic Sea with amazing, red-clay tennis and then added the feeding of free-range, alpha goats – Query – as a tennis player, which would you rather face – a 100 mph serve or a charging, "I mean business" man-goat with sharp horns??? I chose the serve. Run away!! We thank Selma and her team for introducing us to all the beauty that is Croatia.
When Kerry, Andy Roddick, Alisa Kleybanova and Marion Bartoli get together, what do you have??? The BEST tennis-themed cancer research fundraiser EVER!! The Mylan World TeamTennis event videos are posted on the website. So many thanks to Kerry, Billie Jean King, Mylan World TeamTennis and the Austin Aces along with Andy, Alisa and Marion for all that they do to advance cancer research!! Kerry, we look forward to brainstorming with you every year!!!
lives every moment of each culinary day and then shares the sweet seductions of these delicious delights with her readers at the New York Times. Sometimes, these daily sweets are raspberry mousse morsels from Lenotre, sometimes they are sweet friendships, born in Nashville, Tennessee and reaffirmed in Paris years later. All we know is that Elaine, her husband, Andy, and their daughter, Danielle, make sure that Cancer Research Racquet experiences the finest fare and, as for sushi in Paris, that would be Blueberry.
travels the world in search of perfect brownies – which, after much due diligence, are made daily at the Notting Hill Tennis Club. Brownies are a perfect reward after a productive day in the financial world at Goldman Sachs in London or after crushing down-the-line winners past intimidated opponents. Senka and her team brought Cancer Research Racquet to Pula, Croatia. The red-clay tennis nestled near the Adriatic Sea's stunning coastline was a day we will never forget. Thank you, Senka!!
combines her role as Vice President of the Scotch Malt Whisky Society with her skills on the tennis court to help our group fund its fourth cancer research grant through the American Cancer Society. Gabrielle has joined with our friends in Edinburgh to host the group's first "Ultimate Ringer" Tennis & Wine Weekend in Scotland in May of 2015. Gabrielle travels the world educating men and women on the elegance of Scotch Whisky – from the Arizona Biltmore in Phoenix, to the Aria in Las Vegas, and now to our group in Edinburgh, Scotland. Gabrielle's events bring smiles to all guests.

Ruth is a long-time cancer research advocate, and she has helped the group fund three cancer research grants to date through the American Cancer Society's "Pay-If" program. Her passion for the cause and her love of life are evident to all at our Atlanta, Las Vegas, and Illinois events.
owns the dance floor at the "MIX Ultra Lounge" at Mandalay Bay which hosts the annual players party for the "Ultimate Ringer" Cancer Research Doubles Event in Las Vegas. During her tenure at Google and IBM, Cayley helped organize fundraisers in South Beach, at the "Ultimate Ringer" Tennis & Wine Weekends in Napa, and at the "Endless Champagne" Cancer Research Celebrations in San Francisco. Over the years, those events funded the group's three cancer research grants through the American Cancer Society. On the tennis courts, Cayley dominated the Southern Conference during her years on the Wofford Women's Tennis Team.
's long-time career in healthcare with HCA gives her a national perspective on the critical role that access to quality care plays in the diagnosis, treatment and recovery from cancer. Sandy has been a part of Cancer Research Racquet from its inception and is a strong supporter of all our events in the US, UK, and EU. Sandy holds a special place in the hearts of all the organizers. When she is on the tennis court, beware of her flat forehand up the line on the service return – if you are not prepared, this shot will wake you up and may leave a bruise.
